Robert (Rob) Wolcott was born in Rochester, New York and grew up on the mission field in the Dominican Republic and Mexico. He is and has been married to Melany, a native to Colorado, for 29 years and they are blessed to have three kids; who were all born in Denver, CO.

 

Rob is a passionate musician, performer, and composer. Rob earned a Bachelor’s degree in music ministry from Central Christian College in McPherson, KS and a Master’s degree in music education from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS. Rob also attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and took several classes on theology and New and Old Testament surveys. He currently is the Associate Pastor leading the music at Calvary Baptist Church, actively plays in several local music groups and has been recording several songs he has written over the years.

 

Rob has owned, operated and sold a successful business, has taught music from elementary level to college level, and has directed the music at several churches. His favorite color is blue, favorite desserts are creme brulee and tiramisu and he really likes sushi.

 

He has had the opportunity to travel to many Latin and Central American countries such as Panama, Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. He hopes to do more traveling and visit Europe, New Zeland and Australia.

 

His favorite football team is the Alabama Crimson Tide followed closely by the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits.
