We believe strongly in the preaching and teaching of the Word of God because it is what has the power to change our lives (Psalm 19:7; Hebrews 4:12). We value verse by verse teaching through the Bible, what is known as expository preaching. The reason is that God the Holy Spirit gave His divinely inspired Word to us in books, so we lean towards teaching and preaching books of the Bible. He delivered it to us in this manner, so we try to honor Him. We try to alternate teaching New Testament and Old Testament  books so we can learn,"the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27).

We also regularly interperse this form of preaching/teaching with short series on Biblical characters like King David, learning from their walks with God, or topical teachings on life lessons, like spiritual warfare, marriage, parenting God's way, freedom in Christ, or how to handle conflict.
