What To Expect & How to Plan Your Visit
Service Information:
We have Biblical Sunday School classes for all ages from 9:00-10:00am each Sunday morning.
We have a fellowship time from 10:00-10:30am with refreshments and an opportunity to fellowship with one another.
Sunday Morning Worship beings at 10:30am.
Profile of Church: We are a Bible based multigenerational church with many of each age group. While we are thankful to be a part of a strong biblical denomination that sends the Gospel all over the world, we are just Christ followers seeking to grow in our relationship with Jesus. We seek to worship Jesus and help all of us to connect to Him. We truly see ourselves as and work to foster being God's family as a church. We welcome all to connect and worship Him!
What to Wear: Feel free to dress casual. You can come dressed as you think is best for meeting God. There's no dress code at Calvary Baptist Church, but please be appropriate for a setting used for worshipping God.
Refreshments: You will find coffee & tea as well as other refreshments in the lobby just in case you were a bit rushed leaving home. Before the service, we encourage people to be family and just hang out and love on one another.
Worship Service: We value our families worshipping together. We ask that kids (Preschool - 3rd grade) join you during the music portion of our service. The kids will then be dismissed to attend the exciting Kids Worship located just down the hall. We will engage in contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns at times, as well as focus our worship on prayer and the text based preaching of the Word of God, the Bible. We believe the Bible has the answers for life.
Kids Worship: All kids up to 3rd grade participate in their own worship and small group lesson on Sunday mornings. All our volunteers are trained to lead. They also have background checks and are trusted adults. You may ask the greeters at the front as you enter to escort you to where to check in your children to the nursery or age appropriate childrens' areas.
Food & Fellowship: We have an after service potluck fellowship for all about every four to six weeks.
